- To participate in the choice-filling process, the candidates from all categories should deposit Rs 1,00,000 as a caution deposit in favor of KEA
- After getting a seat, the caution deposit will be adjusted with the admission fees
- If the candidates have secured a seat in the mop-up round, nonetheless, fail to report to the allotted college, then the caution deposit will be forfeited
- If the candidates have paid the fees for the other courses, should not be considered a caution deposit
- If the candidates have paid caution money for participating in the mop-up round but did not get a seat, then they should not pay the money for participating in the stray vacancy round
