Karnataka SSLC Exams 2024: To enhance the security and integrity of the upcoming Karnataka SSLC Exams 2024, the Karnataka State Education and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has decided to install CCTV cameras in selected examination centres. This vigilant move has been taken to counter the possibility of cheating that has been reported in those exam centres in previous years. The first exam is to be held on March 25 .
The board has built a team to monitor the CCTV footage live in these SSLC exam centres so that they can take immediate action if necessary. According to a local report, around 1 17 centres have been equipped with live streaming cameras out of a total of 567 centres in Karnataka. The installation of CCTVs comes as part of the department's comprehensive measures to maintain the sanctity of the examination process.

Only a limited time is left for the first day of the SSLC exams, hence the board is leaving nothing behind to conduct the Karnataka SSLC exams seamlessly. In its attempt to counter the situation of unfair means of cheating, the department has installed these cameras in sensitive exam centres.
