KCET 2024 exam date has been announced, and the online registration is set to begin on January 10. Here is the exam schedule of KCET 2024.

KCET 2024 Exam Date Released: The Karnataka Examinations Authority has declared the official date of the KCET 2024 exam, which will be conducted on April 20 and 21. As per the exam schedule, the KCET 2024 exam will take place in two shifts, shift 1 (10.30 am to 11.50 am) and shift 2 (2.30 pm to 3.50 pm) . This year, the Kannada Language Test for the eligible candidates will take place in August.

KCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates, who have passed the class 12 exam with a  minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for reserved category candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology, are eligible to apply for the KCET 2024 exam

  • Mode of the examination: Offline (pen and paper-based exam)
  • Number of sections: Section 3 (Section 1- Mathematics; Section 2- Physics; Session 3- Chemistry)
  • Medium of language: Kannada or English
  • Time of the exam: 1 hour 20 minutes
  • Type of the questions: Objective type
  • Total number of questions: 180 questions
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be allotted for each right answer; whereas no marks will be deducted for the wrong answer
