Instead of releasing the exact dates for KCET counselling 2024, KEA released the expected/ tentative schedule as there is a possibility for the extension of option entry dates. Those candidates who have completed the document verification and generated the verification slip can participate in the counselling process. During option entry, candidates will be required to enter their institute and course preferences in descending order of preference. Based on the seat availability, and the performance of the candidates in the KCET 2024 examination, the mock allotment will be released. Based on the mock allotment, candidates will be allowed to change, modify, add, deduct, or rearrange preferences for the final time, based on which the final allotment will be released in the first week of August, The selected candidates for Round 1 will have to confirm their seats and report to the allotted institution for pre-admission formality which is document verification. Those who fail to confirm their seats, their admission in Round 1 will be rejected. Furthermore, for candidates who report but do not pass the document verification phase, their admission will also be cancelled.
