KCET Option Entry Link 2024 Activated: KEA begins choice filling for KCET counselling

KCET Option Entry Link 2024: Karnataka Examination Authority opened the KCET Option Entry 2024 process for engineering and professional courses on July 23. The candidates can now choose the colleges as a part of option entry by using their CET number. The KCET counselling 2024 process started officially now but KEA is yet to confirm the last date for KCET option entry, mock allotment and seat allotment result. Candidates who completed the document verification process and received the KCET verification slip 2024 are eligible to participate in the KCET option entry process. The candidates must note that the option entry window will not open for the candidates who failed to complete the document verification on the specified dates. Here is the list of important instructions that the candidates can keep in mind before proceeding with the KCET option entry process -

• The candidates are advised to not do the option entry process through an Internet Centre as this may lead to the misuse of candidate details
• The candidates are advised to not share their CET number with anyone
• Before filling the choices, the candidates must check the KCET Final Seat Matrix 2024 to get an idea of total number of seats and courses available in the respective college
• The candidates must first list down the colleges and courses that they want to choose in the option entry portal
• The candidates must mark a priority number against each college and course so that they will have clarity which college and course can be chosen as the first option
• After filling the options through the KEA portal, the candidates must 'Save' the options and take a printout of the same

KCET seat allotment result 2024 is expected to be released either by July 31 or the first week of August. KEA will soon release the official schedule.
