KCET Second Mock Allotment Result 2024: The Karnataka Examination Authority was scheduled to release the KCET Second Mock Allotment Result 2024 link on August 16, 2024, as per the first extension from the original August 14 date. However, the same is now indefinitely postponed and no official confirmation on the release of the second mock allotment results has yet been given. However, the second and final mock allotment is expected to be released anytime soon. Do note that as the modification of web options after the second mock allotment was originally up to the deadline of August 18, the same is now postponed. The revised schedule will be released along with mock results or shortly after.

Previously, the KEA posted a notice on the website regarding the delay of the KCET Second Mock Allotment 2024 which was originally scheduled to be released on August 14, which reads as:

1. Due to scheduled server maintenance at SDC on 15-08-2024, candidates will not be able to perform online activities. (as per mail received from SDC)
2. KEA call centre will not function on 15-08-2024 on account of Independence Day, KEA call centre will resume on 16-08-2024.

Registered candidates can access the second mock allotment results for KCET 2024 at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates can use the second KCET 2024 mock seat allotment to get an indicative allotment of college, course, or stream based on their priority of options. This helps them decide whether to change, retain, add, or delete options. It also allows them to see if lower-merit candidates have been allotted seats that they were eligible for but didn't choose as options. Candidates will be given another chance to adjust their options based on the second mock allotment results. Do note that the candidate will have no claim to the mock allotted seat.

To download, navigate the Karnataka Examination Authority's official website. Select the section for the Karnataka UGCET exam. Select the ‘KCET Second Mock Allotment Result 2024 Link’ Enter your CET registration number to log in. The second mock results will be displayed on the screen. Aspirants can download the second KCET mock allotment result 2024 for future reference.

What After KCET Second Mock Allotment Result 2024?

Aspirants after the release of seat allotment can alter their choices on the official website until August 18, 2024 (though the same is now postponed). To modify the preferences, Select the "Choice Modification" option located beneath the KCET 2024 section by clicking on it. It will show you your current list of chosen universities and courses. Go through the options carefully and Modify your preferences by making new selections or rearranging the ones that are already there. Once the necessary adjustments have been made, submit your updated selections. Verify that the modifications have been successfully saved. Based on the altered web choices, authorities will release seat allotment results for the first round on August 21, 2024.
