KEA to conduct two Mock Rounds for KCET Counselling 2024:
As per the official website, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is all set to conduct two mock rounds for KCET counselling 2024. This is the first time that two KCET mock seat allotment rounds are being conducted by the authorities for the benefit of students. Candidates can access the first round of mock seat allotment results on
August 7, 2024 (after 2 pm)
for all the courses except, Medical, Dental, and Ayush. Aspirants can only download the mock round results if they have exercised options within the deadline. The second round mock seat allotment will be published on
August 14, 2024
. However, candidates can continue their option entry at
cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
. The first round option entry process was closed on August 4, 2024.

The first mock seat allotment will be published only for Engineering, Architecture, Yoga & Naturopathy, Veterinary, Farm Science, B-Pharma, Pharm-D, B.Sc. (Nursing), etc courses - without Medical, Dental, and AYUSH Courses. The second mock seat allotment will be published including Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses along with Engineering, Architecture, Yoga & Naturopathy, Veterinary, Farm Science, B-Pharma, Pharm-D. B.Sc. (Nursing) etc courses.
The examination authority will announce KCET 2024 seat allotment results for Round 1 on August 21, 2024 at the official KEA portal. Following the announcement of the KCET mock allocation results, KEA will start offering the opportunity to modify their selections. For a limited time, applicants have the option to modify their selections. Based on the candidates' updated choices, the KCET round 1 seat allocation for 2024 will be announced. Upon receiving their results, candidates should report to the institutes they were assigned to to verify their documents and pay the fees.
