Finally, the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations or CEE Kerala has released the merit list of NEET-UG 2017 on its official website. According to the state-level merits list, D. Joseph from Kannur bagged the first rank with 99.999358 percentile. He scored 691 marks in the national level medical entrance examination and bagged AIR 6.
This year, a total number of 45,363 students from Kerala qualified for the admission to MBBS/ BDS courses in medical and dental colleges across the state. The minimum cut-off mark for General category is 131, 107 for OBC/ SC/ ST, and 107 for General-PH category. All the candidates who score the minimum cut-off mark are eligible to seek admission.

Now, the shortlisted candidates must log in to the official website of CEE and fill the options. After filling the options, the candidates must freeze the options. However, there is no guarantee that all the candidates in the rank list will get admission to MBBS/ BDS courses. The admission process is based on score, percentile and rank secured by the candidates in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 for the admission to MBBS/ BDS courses.
The online application process for medical courses in Kerala ended on July 8, 2017. According to sources, 51,066 candidates have submitted applications for the admission to UG medical courses.

For checking the rank list, the candidates must access the CEE Kerala official website. On the homepage, click on ‘KEAM’ and then select ‘NEET’ merit list. The ranks of the candidates are available in PDF file. Check the roll number and rank.
