KL University (KLU) has released the results of the KLU-EEE ( KL University Engineering Entrance Examination) on Thursday. After the announcement of the results, Koneru Raja Hareen, the vice-president of KLU addressing the media conference informed about the counselling dates for admission. The counselling process would begin from 14 May and will continue till 17 May, in both morning and evening sessions.
He disclosed that 31,232 students have qualified for the counselling round out of the 36,000 students who had appeared for the entrance examination. Candidates with the rank below 30,000 in the merit list will be called for the first round of the counselling procedure. And the candidates clearing this exam will soon be getting a counselling letter.

He also stated that the students who have qualified for JEE Advanced and also those in the top 40,000 EAMCET 2017 along with the students who secured more than 960 marks in the intermediate examination are eligible for counselling.
The students who have appeared for KLU-EEE candidates can download their rank cards on the official website.
Dr. LSS Reddy, the vice-chancellor of KLU told that counselling for the academic year 2017-21 would be held for the courses Electronics and communication engineering, Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Bio-Technology, Mechanical, Computer Science Engineering, Petroleum and Civil Engineering.

Reddy also mentioned about the additional merit scholarship fees which will be given to the first 750 students in the merit list of KLU-EEE, students who have secured marks above 138 in JEE Mains 2017 and first 2000 rank holders in EAMCET. He further added that candidates belonging to SC/ST will be getting Rs10,000 as discount per year while OBC candidates would get Rs 5,000 fee waiver.
Dr. T Umamaheshwar Rao, the registrar of KLU instructed the students to bring all relevant documents for verification in the counselling round.
