Koneru Lakshmaiah University launched a summer course in Electrician Trade on 2-April-2016 at University skills development center. The course was launched by the HOD of EEE department, Dr. O. Chandrasekhar. He gave the details regarding the duration and objective of the course.
He said, “The course is open for ITI pass outs or 10 th standard pass outs in and around Krishna and Guntur districts. The duration of course will be for 3 Months. The main objective of course is to promote training for a person to become an electrician. The course is designed mainly for the candidates of rural areas and to promote self-employment. The training under this course will be provided at free of cost. A certificate will be given after the end of the course. Hence the rural pass outs of ITI or SSC can use this opportunity”.
Candidates those who are interested in joining the course can directly register themselves at the University's EEE department. Class timimgs are from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM. The classes commenced on 2-April-2016. Candidates those who are interested to join the course must register on or before 6-May-2016. Candidates have to submit photo copies of their SSC certificate or ITI certificate along with Aadhar card.
