Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur has introduced a decision framework for educational organizations known as ‘Campus Rakshak’ that amalgamates various tools and applications into one for averting the possible spread of Covid-19 to ensure the smooth reopening of the educational campuses. IIT Jodhpur has collaborated with IIT Kharagpur, IISC Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIIT Hyderabad, Health badge Pvt. Ltd, Algorithmic and Biologics Pvt Ltd, and Prithvi.AI for building, testing, and uniting to certify safety on campuses through this drive.
The entire team, prototyping on simultaneous testings on IIT Jodhpur and IIT Hyderabad has been on to make affordable and flexible pricing models, product marketing, and sales schemes for reaching the campuses across the nation. The four components of Campus Rakshak Go Corona Go App, Tapestry Pooling, Health Badge, and Simulators. This shapes a single platform that detects, predicts, endorses, and recommends mitigation approaches for campuses against Covid-19.

“Go Corona Go” is an application similar to Arogya Setu Application, but the data collected will be accessed by the administrative officials for making the right decisions of preventing the spread of the Coronavirus. As added by Mr. Bairagi, candidates will be able to connect themselves through the Bluetooth of their smartphones.
Health Badge is a badging and information management system that issues red, green, and orange badges to the students depending on the rate of Covid affected candidates. There will be three simulator models- Campus Modeler, campusSim, EpiSimmer. This will predict where the covid shall spread in the coming days. Using this technique, the institutions will be able to detect and control the upcoming epidemic. Rs. 250 is charged per institution opting for the program. The team is working on the pricing models to include a subscription as the number of people exceed.
