A State Level Seminar was organized at Degree Girls College Raipur on 29th February, which aimed to escort the teachers to understand the viewpoint of students & to increase the quality of teaching.
Govt. Dudhadhari Bajrang Girls' Post-Graduate Autonomous College formerly known as Degree Girls College is a premier institution of higher education in Chhattisgarh.
Today students need shortcuts even when it comes to their studies, they only used to read what is sufficient to get good marks which are affecting the quality of teaching in India. Keeping these things into consideration this Seminar was organized for the teachers. In this, Ex-IAS Official Mr. B.K.S.Rey interacted with them. According to him, teachers are the one who needs to ensure that a student must study from the text books and not some guides.This will uplift our Education standards.
He also talked about Governance Transparency, the relation between a teacher & a student, importance of Semester pattern.He stressed upon Need of Transparency in Higher Education .
In the programme Head Of The Department of Bioscience Dr.M.L.Nayak also shared his thoughts. Dr. Geeta Tiwari talked about the Vision & Mission of Colleges.
The other Academicians from different parts of the State who made themselves a part of this Seminar were Dr. Imtiyaaz Ahmed, Dr.Sandhya Verma, Dr.Sushil Trivedi, Dr. Arvind Girolkar, Dr. Usha Kiran Agrawal & Dr.Ujwalaa Singh.
