A Leadership Resource Centre (LRC) has been launched by the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) in collaboration with IIM Bangalore . LRC is an information repository that will enhance technology adoption within small and medium enterprises.
NASSCOM – the apex body of IT industry has joined hands with premier b-school IIM Bangalore to provide content and customized leadership development programmes.
Chairman of Nasscom, CP Gurnani said that 2017 will be the year of innovation. He also highlighted the need to get leaders who are capable of taking challenges openly and maintaining the momentum of growth. He also added that initiatives like these will help in preparing future leaders.

LRC is an online collaboration platform that will help aspiring leaders to interact and collaborate with industry leaders and learn from their experience. This initiative will be expanded in the years to come, including large corporates and will eventually become the Nasscom Leadership Academy.
Various IT companies have volunteered to give their physical infrastructure to the initiative without any charges. The focus will be on all the segments of the IT companies and non-Nasscom members in India to leverage the services.

The initiative will also focus on preparing next generation leaders and will help them understand their potential. This will help these candidates to understand how to tackle challenges unique only to the digital era. The aim of this initiative is to redefine the IT skills and enable companies to improve their overall competitiveness.
