Jamia Millia Islamia University has decided to adopt Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2022) for the admissions to eight courses under graduation for the academic year 2022-23. The decision was taken in a meeting in top officials of the university have attended. The selected undergraduate courses are B.A. in Sanskrit, B.A. in Hindi, B.A. in French and Francophone Studies, B.A. in Spanish and Latin American Studies, B.A. in Economics, B.A. in History B.Sc Biotechnology and B.Voc (Solar Energy). Students who would like to join in the above-said courses under graduation from Jamia Millia Islamia University need to appear for CUCET 2022.

The aspirants are advised to follow the university's official website www.jmi.ac.in for the latest updates regarding the courses and other details. The candidates, who would like to take admission to those eight undergraduate courses, must fill out the application form for CUET 2022 and the application form of JMI University. Except for these eight undergraduate courses, JMI will continue to conduct its own entrance exams. Candidates, who would like to join B. Tech courses can get admission into Jamia Millia Islamia University through JEE score. According to university guidelines, B.Tech Aspirants must fill out the JEE application as well as the JMI application too. BDS courses can also join the university if they are qualified in NEET and have NEET scores.

The university conveyed the decision of holding the entrance examination for the eight courses for under graduation to the University Grants Commission and the National Testing Agency because university officials want to adopt CUET for chosen courses. University awaits the decision from UGC and NTA.
