The result of Phase 1 NEST 2017 - Lovely Professional University (LPU) Entrance and Scholarship test – has been announced. Admissions to B.Tech, Medical Sciences, Design, Law, Hotel Management MBA, Agriculture and Applied Medical Sciences programs offered by LPU will be done on the basis of LPUNEST 2017.
Students who appeared for the exam can check and download their result from the official website of LPU. The result will comprise the rank, counselling dates and scholarship status of the candidates. Any other exam-related information will also be available on the university website.

The Phase - 1 A of LPUNEST 2017 was conducted from April 10 to May 2, 2017. Candidates who have successfully qualified the exam will be eligible to appear for the Round 1 counselling process that will be held from May 4 to 9, 2017.
In order to secure seats, candidates will be required to their stream preferences online. On the basis of LPUNEST 2017 rank and preference of the students, seats will be allocated. Once the candidates have received the seat allotment letter, they can secure their seats.
Mr Ashok Mittal, LPU Chancellor, shared the admission information and said that entrance exam is conducted to select the best students for the programmes offered by the university. He added that the exam is the criteria basis which scholarship is offered to the candidates who have scored high marks.
Some of the best candidates are offered a scholarship worth Rs. 1.5 lakh per annum, the Chancellor added. He also shared that the university successfully conducted the test in 220 cities.
Candidates who are participating in online counselling process for admission under Phase 1 A will be entitled to maximum scholarship slab. Early Decision Benefit (EDB) will also be provided to these students and they will be able to secure seats at the cost of the programme fee of the year 2016.
