Amazon recruited two students of Lovely Professional University for a package of Rs. 28 lakhs per annum. Artificial Intelligence and digital expertise were considered important factors for the placement of students.
Amazon offered two students of Lovely Professional University a package of Rs. 28 lakhs per annum each. Manish Tolani and Gurpreet are the two students from LPU who bagged these packages from Amazon owing to their expertise in Artificial Intelligence. The university stated that the placement season of this year was highly rewarding to students who were skilled in digital efficiency. Students who were adept in Digital Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning etc. received better offers than those had only the traditional abilities.
The digital skills are what helped these two LPU students to land at Amazon. Manish Tolani belongs to the batch of 2018 and did an internship with Amazon for a year before getting hired in May 2018. Gurpreet is a year junior to Manish and is completing his internship under Amazon right now. He has already been given a pre-placement offer for the position of a Software Development Engineer.
