Lucknow University has increased 50% seats in the department of Computer Science Engineering . The increase in a number of seats will provide keen students with better opportunities to pursue the course from the varsity. The main reason for increasing the seat intake is due to the increasing popularity of computer science engineering.

As per the reports, out of all the engineering streams, B.Tech in Computer Scienc e has received the maximum number of application. However, the number of seats in the last academic session was 60 and the total number of applicants for the respective course was around 240. Due to which the university decided to increase the number of seats so that more students can enrol in the course. Given below is the list of engineering streams and number of seats offered by LU:

Also, one of the main reason behind the increase in the number of applications at LU is due to the improvement in infrastructure and other facilities to cater to the need of students. The university has already come up with various laboratories and the girls’ hostel has also come up in the second campus of the varsity.

The university has also proposed one more boys’ hostel. Students will also have the facility to learn the additional language and improvise their communication skills at the training centres established in the university. For the new academic session, LU is coming up with e-library, sports facilities, training centres and others.
