A great step is taken by Lucknow University to improve students` employability skills and to train them with basics of entrepreneurship and entering into start-ups
Lucknow University has signed on Memorandum of Understanding with Awoke India Foundation (AIF). AIF is a training consultancy and social organization, which helps people to improve and have financial literacy and skills that are very essential for life. The memorandum of understanding was signed by the vice-chancellor of Lucknow University Prof Alok Rai and PK Dwivedi who is the director of AIF.
The sole ambition for the LU officials to sign this MoU with AIF is to give a rendering hand to the students to improve their employability skills and practical knowledge in financial management. Counselling and guiding cell of Lucknow University will aid with start-up and entrepreneurial mentoring. Prof Madhurima Pradhan who is the director of Lucknow University`s counselling and advisory department stated that students would provide internships, training programmes, and seminars by AIF. The mutual collaboration of LU with AIF will help the students` community in providing new-age career skills and practices on the ground learning opportunities. This wonderful training and assistance will enrich and enhance the employability skills with which they can flourish in life. Such academia partnership with AIF will help students to understand the basics of entrepreneurship and how to begin the startups.
