Lucknow University is looking forward to increase the number of seats in its MBA programme from this academic session, i.e. 2017-18. The popular MBA programmes of the university might have additional seats this year.
The university is planning to double the intake of the Finance Control MBA Programme. There are currently 60 seats in the programme that will possibly be increased to 120 seats.
The university has also decided to cut down the number of seats in the less popular management programmes. MBA in Retail Management and MBA in Corporate Management are some of the programmes for which intake might be reduced from 60 each to 30 each.

S P Singh, Vice-Chancellor of LU, said that the university has a balanced student-teacher ratio. For 540 students enrolled in various MBA programmes at the Lucknow University, there are 32 teachers contributing to a student-teacher ratio of 15:1.
The Admission Committee of Lucknow University will take the final decision regarding the increment of seats in the MBA programmes in a meeting arranged for March 17 and 18, 2017.
Registration process for admission to the Lucknow University will begin from March 20, 2017. From 2017, all admissions will be conducted online through the centralized admission process.
