Premier engineering college of Punjab, Ludhiana College of Engineering and Technology (LCET) , Katani Kalan Ludhiana organised a management cum inter-college youth festival, where several cultural and management events were held.

The chief guest on the occasion was Dharampal Gupta, Director, Technical Education and Training, Punjab Government. Also, present on the occasion was Chairman of Ludhiana College of Engineering and Technology (LCET) , VK Gupta. In his speech, he said that such events are equally important and significant as it gives an opportunity to students to showcase their talents.
Teams from different institutions showcased their various enchanting items like-

- Ghazal
- Group Song
- Poem Recitation
- Women's Traditional Song
- Giddha
- Poem Recitation
- Debate and Elocution
- Skit and Play
- Theatrical items
More than 1,400 students hailing from 57 institutes of Ludhiana, Kapurthala, and Moga district had participated in the festival. Chairman VK Gupta said such events carried equal significance as academic accomplishments.
It is to be noted that Ludhiana College of Engineering and Technology (LCET), also organised a placement drive on its campus for its students where several foreign companies from US and UK recruited students.

Around 100 students from different streams of MCA, B.Tech and MBA participated in the drive. An official of one of the companies said that the selected candidates would be working in Singapore and Egypt after their probation period are over.
Head of Placements, LCET, Prateek Kalia said that 10 students of the university got selected with good packages. The Chairman of LCET, V K Gupta congratulated the successful candidates. He urged them to work hard and give importance to values and ethics that have been imbibed into them.
