The HSC or 12th exams are set to commence on February 11, 2025 and conclude on March 18, 2025 . On the other hand, SSC or 10th exams are scheduled to be conducted from February 21 to March 17, 2025 . No official dates have been announced by the conducting authorities yet. As per the media reports, the schedule for SSC and HSC exams for Maharashtra Board 2025 is as follows:

The MSBSHSE has made significant changes to the exam schedule for Class 10 and 12 compared to previous years. This decision was made to provide students with ample time to prepare for entrance exams, ensuring an early publication of results, and facilitating a smoother admission process. The board chairman, Sharad Gosavi, highlighted these objectives in the announcement. In the previous academic year, the authorities conducted the SSC board exams from March 1 to March 26 and the (HSC board exams from February 21 to March 14, with exams being held in two shifts.
A total of 15,60,154 students registered for the Class 10 board exams, out of which 15,49,326 completed the exams. Of these, 14,84,441 students passed the exams. The pass percentage among female students was notably high at 97.21%, while male students achieved a pass percentage of 94.56%.In the Class 12 exams, the overall pass percentage stood at 93.37%. Within this, students from the science stream achieved a commendable pass percentage of 97.82%, while arts students achieved a pass percentage of 85.88% and commerce students achieved 92.18%.
