The Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra has extended the deadline for submitting applications for law courses. The CET cell informed High Court of Bombay that the deadline to submit applications for the admission to law courses is August 31, 2017. Since the University of Mumbai has not yet declared the final year results of UG courses, CET cell has decided to extend the date. According to sources, CET cell will not extend the date further after August 31, 2017, as it has already been done thrice.
The extension of application date is a sigh of relief to many aspirants who qualified in MHT CET (Law) 2017 entrance examination and were not able to register for admission due to the absence of UG mark sheets. The delay in declaration of results of Mumbai University has been disrupting the admission process for various courses. Apart from law, the seats in popular colleges for various courses have been filled. If the candidates want to join PG courses, they need to look among the limited options available.
