Admissions of many students in the Maharashtra law colleges were cancelled as they made errors while entering their marks in the application form. The students were up for the third round when they were informed that their admission was cancelled.
A student who was granted admission to the Government Law School (GLC) earlier said that during his admission process, he got a roll number, but was later informed that his admission was cancelled. The student was asked to edit his admission form, during which he could not opt for GLC any longer.

When the application process was underway, the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) had asked the colleges to grant provisional admissions to students who made errors, but later after the 2nd round, their admission was cancelled. The CET Cell had opened the official website for editing purposes and it was then that the students who were granted provisional admission earlier had to let go their seat.
The guidelines were termed as unfair as the students who scored lesser marks were given priority and those who scored well were rejected admission, said a student.
