Maharashtra NEET PG Seat Matrix 2024: The State Common Entrance Test Cell released the seat matrix of Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 today, November 22, 2024. The release of the seat matrix was postponed due to the change in affiliated seats . To be eligible for seat allotment in programs such as MD, MS, DM, and MDS, candidates must participate in the NEET PG 2024 counselling process. Following the announcement of the examination results, the State CET Cell publishes the NEET PG seat matrix, which outlines the number of available seats in different institutions and courses.

The MCC typically organizes a total of four rounds of counselling, which includes the initial round, followed by the subsequent rounds that account for any vacancies or unfilled seats from the earlier rounds. Each round provides candidates with the opportunity to select their preferred courses and institutions based on their ranks, ultimately facilitating the seat allotment process for postgraduate medical education.

Candidates must read the information brochure on the website to confirm eligibility for each round.  Free exit is only available in CAP 1; it is not permitted in subsequent rounds. Ensure all necessary documents for category claims are in the prescribed format; EWS candidates must use Annexure A, as Annexure I is not valid for State Quota admission. Check the fees for unaided private colleges on their websites or the FRA website before selecting choices. PWD quota candidates need a certificate from authorized boards in an online format; others will not be accepted.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the counselling process for 50% of the All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while the remaining 50% of the seats are managed by the respective state authorities through their counselling processes. Only candidates who meet or exceed the minimum cutoff scores set for the NEET PG examination will be eligible to take part in the counselling process.
