DMER or Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Maharashtra has released the first selection list of NEET-UG 2017 . The candidates whose name features in the selection list will get admission to undergraduate medical courses including MBBS and BDS. The first selection list of NEET-UG 2017 is available on the official website of DMER. According to the first selection list, the candidates who secured rank up to 1,35,000 in NEET-UG 2017 are declared eligible for the admission. However, allotment has been based on merit.

DMER has released two separate selection lists. One list contains the names of the candidates who completed Class 12 in Maharashtra. These candidates must report to the allotted college on or before August 2, 2017. The deadline for the retention of status is August 3, 2017.
Similarly, another selection list released by DMER contains the names of the candidates who had completed Class 12 outside of the state. These candidates must report to allotted college on or before July 31, 2017. Document verification process will take place at the respective college. Therefore, the candidates must produce all the mandatory/ prescribed documents while attending the counselling process.

On the official website of DMER, the candidates can check the college-wise allotment list too. The link for checking the first selection list is available on the homepage of DMER. The selection list is available in a PDF format. Candidates can check their Roll Number, Name and College Code in the selection list.
DMER clarified that the certificate verification process will be done by the respective institutes.
