Maharashtra School Holiday 28 September 2024: The Indian Meteorological Department has issued orange and yellow alerts for a few districts in Maharashtra after heavy rainfall persists in the region. The administration units of various districts in Maharashtra are likely to declare holidays in the schools of all classes for September 28, 2024, as well, due to continuous rainfall in the region. Till now, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has declared a school holiday in the Mumbai city and sub-urban regions.

IMD has declared an orange alert for various districts of Maharashtra- Nandurbar, Dhule, Nashik & Palghar, whereas, a yellow alert has been issued for Jalgaon, Aurangabad, Thane, Raigad, Pune and many more districts. That is why, it is very much likely that Maharashtra School Holiday will be announced by the government soon for September 28.

The weather forecast department has issued severe yellow alerts for various districts of Maharashtra for September 28. Bulletin issued by IMD indicates extremely heavy rainfall and thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds at isolated places to occur in Mumbai, Thane, Raigad and Ratnagiri districts over the next 24 hours.
