Mahindra University Launches Law School, Offers Integrated LLB

Mahindra University has launched a new School of Law (MU-SoL) in Hyderabad. It will be operational from 2021-22. This is the third school by the university after the launch of Ecole Centrale School of Engineering and the School of Management.

Mahindra University has come up with a Law school, which will be operational from 2021-22. This is the third school to be set up by the university after Ecole Centrale School of Engineering and the School of Management. The law school will offer BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons). Each course will have a total of 60 seats.

An academician and former Central Information Commissioner (CIC), Sridhar Acharyulu is the Dean of the School of Law. He is also a writer with more than 45 books on Law and Journalism in English and Telugu. He has also published around 100 research articles and 1000 newspaper articles, according to a statement made by Mahindra University.

The school of law aims at sending the students who graduate to various leading law firms, corporate houses, and judiciary upon completion of their 5-years integrated course. The VC of Mahindra University, Yajulu Medury said that they are happy to announce the launch of the law school. And, they are glad to have Sridhar Acharyulu as the founder Dean. They hope to make a significant contribution to the field of legal education in the coming years.

After launching professional courses in the fields of education, law, and management, the university will also set up schools of applied sciences, design, and liberal arts in 2022.

Mahindra University is built over 130 acres in Hyderabad. It is a multi-disciplinary university. The announcement regarding the launch of this university was made in July 2020. Roughly 4,000 students and more than 300+ faculty members are expected to be a part of the various schools at Mahindra University in the next few years.
