MAT 2022 CBT (March 13): Key Points to Remember

  • The total duration of the exam will be 150 minutes without any sectional time limit.
  • Candidates can easily shift from one section to another. Hence, they may attempt the MAT 2022 CBT exam according to their strategy. However, it is advisable to attempt the Indian & Global Environment section at the end, as it is not considered for the calculation of the MAT percentile.
  • Remember that the MAT question paper has negative marking. So, candidates must be careful and sure while attempting the MAT 2022 CBT question paper.
  • All candidates must follow the COVID-19 guidelines on the exam day at the exam centres. They must maintain, social distancing, wear masks and gloves or sanitize their hands at regular intervals during the exam.
  • Candidates must wear their facemasks at all times from the time of entering the exam hall till they leave the exam hall.
  • Make sure to carry all the necessary documents such as MAT 2022 CBT Admit Card, one ID Proof (Aadhar card/ PAN card/ Driving Licence/ Passport), and self-declaration form duly self-attested.
  • Other things that candidates my carry along during the MAT exams are a ball pen, transparent water bottle, hand sanitiser, and face masks.
  • Also, candidates must report to the exam centre an hour before the exam timing. If the location is unfamiliar, candidates can go one day earlier to check the location to avoid delays or confusion at the last moment.
  • Once the candidates are seated at their designated seats, they must not leave their seats until the end of the exams. Only if the invigilator asks, candidates will be allowed to move.
  • Make sure that candidates do not carry any of the prohibited items to the exam centres. Items such as calculator, digital/smartwatch, mobile phone, electronic gadgets, notes, paper, books, or any such items will not be allowed. If the candidates are found possession of any of the equipment, their candidature will be cancelled immediately.
  • For MAT 2022 CBT, exam centres will not have provisions for bag deposits. So, candidates must avoid carrying bags or valuables to the exam centre.
