MDI Gurgaon one of the top B-Schools in India,kicked off its'International Summer University 2016' scheduled from May 23rd to 10th of June 2016 along with its 'Research Week' to be held from May 30, 2016, to June 03, 2016 in its campus.
MDI play host to students and faculty from partner institutions in India and overseas. This year the Research Week has been introduced as a special initiative for doctoral students and faculty members.
It is to be noted that MDI's International Summer University was launched in 2013 and from last three-year there has been active participation from all over the country. This time, there are 50 enrollments for the program. The program aims students to utilize their summer holidays to earn grades while enjoying a trip to the culturally and economically vibrant Tier 1 city. It also facilitates better job prospects which are internationally relevant.
The Programme allow participating student who is as bright and able as his global peers to get at par with them through access to high-quality education, teachers, learning environment, course material, knowledge imparted, facilities and the diversity of his peer group, improving thereby, the prospects of employment.
"The program aims to bring together professors from International Universities and students from smaller cities on one platform to learn the research methods and apply to contemporary business issues. We have introduced this year a unique intellectual concept of research week wherein students and faculty from partnered institutions and universities will get a chance to understand the recent market developments.” said a professor of the Institute.
