NEET Exam 2023 Today: With NEET 2023 Exam being conducted today on May 7, candidates must be overwhelmed with anxiety and the thought of what to expect in the exam hall. In this anticipating, they often tend to forget the important guidelines and end up making mistakes on exam day. NEET Exam 2023 Today: Important Exam Day Guidelines

Here are the key instructions for NEET Exam 2023 today that all candidates must keep in mind:

  • All candidates must carry a self-attested copy of the NEET 2023 Admit Card with a recent, coloured passport photograph pasted on it. Without a valid admit card, no candidate will be permitted to appear for the entrance test.

  • Candidates must carry photocopies of their Govt. ID proof (Aadhaar card/PAN card/Passport/Voter’s ID/Driving license) for verification.

  • Candidates belonging to the Reserved category must carry a valid caste/category certificate issued by the competent authority.

  • Candidates with a physical disability must carry a valid PWD certificate issued by the competent authority.

  • Test-takers must arrive at the allotted NEET exam centre by 11:30 AM before the gates open

  • Examinees must be dressed casually and avoid wearing full-sleeved clothes, closed footwear, jewellery/ornaments, headgear and caps, watches etc.

  • Candidates with customary dress code must report to the venue by 12:30 PM to allow time for security checking and verification.

  • Candidates are requested to cooperate with the security personnel while undergoing security procedures, such as frisking and scanning.

  • Examinees are advised to follow the invigilator’s instructions inside the exam hall before filling out the test booklet and signing the attendance sheet.

  • Examinees must be careful when marking the answers on the NEET OMR Sheet. They must only use a black ballpoint pen to do so.

  • Candidates must only mark the correct option out of the given choices

  • No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam hall unless permitted by the invigilator.

  • Candidates are strictly prohibited from carrying stationery items (notepads and papers, ruler, pencil box, geometry box, pouches etc.), electronic devices (mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, Smartwatches, calculators, pagers etc.), accessories and metallic objects, and edible items.

  • Candidates caught in possession of any of the prohibited items will be barred from taking the entrance exam.

  • Examinees caught using unfair means will be disqualified from appearing for the NEET exam.

  • Test-takers are advised to follow COVID-19 safety norms inside the premises, such as wearing masks, carrying hand sanitizer bottles, and keeping a safe distance.

  • Candidates must only carry the question paper out of the exam hall after the paper is concluded.
