MHT CET CAP Round 1 Cutoff 2023 PDF DownloadMHT CET CAP Round 1 Cutoff 2023 PDF: The seat allotment result for the first round of counselling for admissions into AY 2023-24 undergraduate engineering programmes in Maharashtra State was released today, July 25, 2023. Shortly after the seat allocation announcement, the Maharashtra CET Cell has also released the cutoff or closing ranks for Round 1. It was released in PDF format and details the cutoff in an institute-wise, branch-wise, category-wise, and quota-wise format.
The candidates who wish to participate in Round 2 can refer to their respective category and quota cutoff for their preferred institute and branch. It will help them access their chances of admission to the institute. If a seat was not allotted in Round 1, then such candidates shall add a few colleges within their cutoff range for better allotment chances.

Along with the cutoff, the vacancy seat matrix after CAP Round 1 seat allotment will also be released. Candidates can refer to the same to obtain a better idea about available vacancies at an institute. It is also to be noted that due to the upward movement of candidates during the actual seat allocation for Round 2, additional vacancies other than the ones mentioned in the matrix will be created. Hence, it is advised to add your preferred colleges even if the vacancy seat matrix displays zero vacancies.
Unlike in Round 1, the seats for linguistic and religious minorities will also be allotted in Round 2 to other candidates if the required number of linguistic/religious minority students have not applied for the same. Hence, if preferred, referring to MHT CET Round 1 Cutoff 2023, such colleges can also be added to the Round 2 option form.
