Who is eligible for MHT CET CAP Round 2 Counselling 2023?MHT CET CAP Round 2 Counselling 2023: The State CET Cell is all set to conduct the MHT CET CAP Round 2 Counselling 2023 from July 30, 2023onwards, leaving many students pondering over whether to confirm their seat allotment or opt for betterment. To clarify the eligibility for CAP Round 2, here are the crucial distinctions that will help them understand the eligibility of MHT CET Round 2 Counselling better. The eligibility criteria must be gone through before choosing any post-allotment option.

Preference 1 Allotted Candidates:
- Not eligible, even if the candidate rejects the current allocation by not paying the seat acceptance fees or by not taking admission.
- Candidates who have been allotted their first preference will have their seats Auto-Freezed.
- They must accept the seat through online reporting, pay the Seat Acceptance Fee, and report at the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC), and the allotted institute before the given deadline. Failure to do so will result in seat cancellation, and they won't be allowed to participate in CAP Round 2.
- If they don't desire admission at the allotted institute, they can skip paying the fee, leading to allocation cancellation. However, they won't be allowed for further CAP rounds.

Other First Than Preference Allotted Candidates:
- Eligible, only if the candidate pays the seat acceptance fee after choosing the betterment options and submits the Round 2 option form again.
- Not Eligible, if the candidate chooses the freeze option.
- Candidates allotted Preference 2 or lower can opt for betterment in MHT CET counselling Round 2, but it's not mandatory.
- Those satisfied with their allocation (even if not Preference 1) can Freeze their seats and follow the steps applicable to Preference 1 allotted candidates.
- Once the seat is Freezed, it cannot be undone, and they won't be eligible for further CAP rounds.
- If unsatisfied with the current allocation, they may Float their seat and retain the claim until a better seat or higher choice is allotted.
- Float candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee; failure to do so will result in cancellation but allow them to participate in CAP Round 2 by filling out a fresh MHT CET CAP 2 web option form.
Candidates Not Allotted a Seat:
- Eligible , only if the candidate submits the Round 2 option form again.
- Those not allotted a seat can modify/reconfirm their option form and participate in CAP Round 2.
- It is recommended to refer to Round 1 cutoffs before filling out the option form for Round 2.
