MHT CET Option Form 2022: Instructions

It is advised to follow the instructions given below while filling out the MHT CET choice filling as any mistakes in the choice filling activity will lead to non-allotment of a seat:

  • To reiterate, the option form filling is mandatory and the candidates mentioned in MHT CET Final Merit List 2022 are eligible for the same.
  • The option form must only be filled out online only although an offline proforma is given. The offline form is only for reference and not for actual submission.
  • The serial number mentioned in the block in the options form is the preferred number i.e., the block with the number ‘1’ indicates Preference #1 or the topmost/highest priority choice; subsequently following afterwards.
  • A minimum of 1 option and a maximum of 300 options can be entered for each unique institute-branch preference, including TFWS. Candidates are advised to exercise as many preferences as they wish to avoid not getting a seat.
  • For each option, the ‘Choice Code’ is to be entered. The choice code is a unique code for each institute-branch combination, differing again for TFWS seats. The choice codes are available in MHT CET Seat Matrix 2022 . Special attention must be paid while entering the choice codes as any errors may lead to the seat allotment being missed.
  • If Preference #1 is allotted anytime in the counselling rounds, it is mandatory for the candidate to take admission there. If a candidate does not do so, he/she will not be eligible for further counselling rounds.
  • Refer to MHT CET Previous Years’ Cutoff for a better understanding of the chances of admission at a particular institute & branch based on your merit rank.
