Microsoft Collaborates with WE Hub to Support Women Entrepreneurs

Microsoft joins hands with Women Entrepreneurs Hub to encourage and empower more women in science and tehnology sector to bring revolution to the technological sector in India by giving them proper exposure and training.

Microsoft take Steps for Woman Empowerment in Telangana

To encourage more women in the entrepreneurial sectors under STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths), the global tech giant Microsoft Corporations is partnering with WE (Women Entrepreneurs) Hub. The announcement from the side of Microsoft came on Friday regarding the move. The organisation has partnered with WE Hub to help women entrepreneurs and technologists in the Telangana region. The company will provide help to them to access facilities, networks and education regarding Microsoft Garage.

A press release has said that it will focus on designing and execution of educational activities and tools that will encourage innovation among woman entrepreneurs and encourage more girls in the STEM sector to take up entrepreneurial roles.

Deepthi Ravula, the CEO of WE Hub, said while commenting on the partnership that Digital Technology has played a key role to revolutionise the people’s lives all over in every section. Microsoft has helped with its global outreach to bring a platform for the women in Telangana to bring them growth opportunities.

The principal of ITE&C Department, Telangana, Mr Jayesh Ranjan has expressed optimism by saying the initiative will help women in science and technology section to grow and take development initiatives not only within the state but nation-wide.

Ms Reena Dayal Yadav, the director of Microsoft Garage India initiative informed that the requirements for skilled science and technology sector will change and increase as the sector sees more growth and development. It will require skilled professionals in future on a large scale. As an integral part of the skilling revolution in India, giving women a platform to take an active part in it will contribute to the growth. The India of tomorrow will be built with the proper technology infrastructure, institutional support, training and exposure.
