In order to boost rural entrepreneurship in the country, the central government of India has decided to provide a monthly scholarship of Rs.3000 to agriculture graduation students. This plan was discussed by Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan on July 11.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Rural Entrepreneurship Development Scheme will also be implemented this year.
In a statement at the Mahatma Phule Agriculture Vidyapeeth, Singh said that this scholarship will give agriculture graduates a chance to get hands-on experience as well as entrepreneurship skills to boost their knowledge. A scholarship of Rs. 3000 will be provided to the students every month.
By granting the students with scholarships, the knowledge and skills of the students will enhance and they will be able to understand the requirements of the private sector in a better manner. The students at undergraduate and postgraduate level will be able to turn themselves into entrepreneurs and start their own enterprise.
Dalip Kumar Gandhi, Ahmednagar MP and Shirdi MP Sadashiv Kisan Lokhande were also present.
