The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) has resumed the tele-counseling services for the pending class 10 and 12 board exams. The pending board exams will take place from July 1 to July 15 across the country. The tele-counseling services for the students will be available from June 1 to June 15 from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. The helpline facility for the students is available at 1800-11-8004.
The general queries of the students will be answered by teleoperators and for the live psychological counselling in India 73 counsellors and principals will be available. Due to the uncertainty hit by the COVID-19 students as well as their parents are stressed about their future. The helpline will help in the mental well-being of students and parents amidst the cancellation of exams and the disruption of regular schooling due to lockdown.
The board officials further informed that they have introduced a new segment on IVRS for Coronavirus. Students are under a lot of stress due to COVID-19 can getting counselling on the same. This segment will answer their queries on COVID-19 and will provide them with tips to tackle the pressure.
Through IVRS facility CBSE will answer important FAQs related to exam dates, preparation tips and provide information to parents. CBSE introduces this facility in February this year.
