B.A. English (Hons) Course Continues to Dominate DU Admissions 2018

B.A. English (Hons) Course Continues to Dominate DU Admissions 2018

Continuing the trend this year as well, B.A. English (Hons) course continues to dominate the Delhi University Admissions 2018. While applying for DU Admission, students are opting for B.A. English (Hons) course offered by DU and its affiliated colleges in large numbers. It is followed by B.A Political Science (Hons) and B.A. Economics (Hons) courses that are also receiving a high number of applications till now.

In a span of 10 days since the application process started, DU received a total of 1,97,305 applications for UG courses till 25th May 2018. DU application process began on May 15, 2018, and will conclude on June 07, 2018.

A total number of 46 DU colleges offer B.A. English (Hons) course. Therefore, the course tops charts in terms of the number of applications every year. So far, DU received 52,254 applications for English (Hons.) course.

A top official appointed at DU said that since students from any stream can apply for B.A. English (Hons) course, the varsity receives the maximum applications for it every year. He also advised the students to opt for this course only if they have a keen interest in studying literature.

As far as B.A. Economics (Hons) course is concerned, 38 DU colleges offer this popular course. 40,492 candidates have applied for this course until 25th May 2018. Further, B.A Political Science (Hons.) course received 40,509 applications. The number of registrations is expected to increase in the next one week.

The University of Delhi will announce the first cut-off list for UG courses on June 19, 2018, and the admissions for the same will conclude on June 21, 2018.

Students who are planning to make edits in the application form must mote that they can do the same until the payment of application/ registration fee.
