A decision has been made by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) to conduct class XIIth exams for only the “select” courses from 09th June to 16th June 2020 . The MP Board has also decided to scrap this year's class Xth exams. MPBSE earlier postponed the class Xth and XIIth exams due to coronavirus outbreak in India. In a similar case, CBSE has also decided to conduct re-test for only the “ main ” subjects.
Also, the students appearing for the MP board exam 2020 will have to wear masks compulsorily and go for thermal scanning before being allowed inside the exam hall. Hand sanitiser, soap and water will also be made available at the exam centre so that the students take precautions. They will be informed in case there is any change in the exam centre by May 28 to avoid any chaos on the day of the exam.
According to MPBSE, the class XIIth exams will be conducted between June 09th and 16th. The decision was made public by the Honourable Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mr Shivjraj Singh Chouhan. The Board had earlier promised that the students will have no dearth of time to prepare for the exams. The lockdown has been extended until the 31st of May 2020.
