M.P Engineering College Hosts Guest Lecture on World Water Conservation Day

The Civil engineering department of Malineneni Perumal College of Engineering and Technology conducted a guest lecture on the occasion of World Water Conservation Day on 22-March-2016.

The guest lecture was delivered by Mr. K. Koteswara Rao, Geographical Scientist . Addressing the students he said “The importance of conservation of water resources. The ground water and surface water is being polluted due to various reasons and the conservation of water from the clutches of pollution is a challenging task. The water can be conserved if the people are properly motivated. I want the students to preserve water and explain the importance of water resources to the people who are living in urban areas".

On the occasion, the students also presented their papers on the theme “Conservation of water resources” . Among the students, Anusha and Mytheri of final year civil engineering explained “as the youth pf the nation it is their responsibility to conserve the water resources for the future generations”.

The guest lecture was attended by the faculty of department, students, eminent scholars, print and electronic media.
