Madhya Pradesh government universities sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cambridge Assessment English (CAE) in order to develop English Skills among the students to enhance their employability. The MoUs between the institutions was signed on 16th July Tuesday.
The Deputy Director of Global Network, CAE Mr Liam Vint has expressed his feelings by saying that they are delighted that the international standards of English are being implemented by the Madhya Pradesh Universities. He added that the key to graduate employability is the English Language.
The South Asia Regional Director of CAE, Mr Arunachalam TK told the Press Trust of India that MP is the third state after Gujarat and Chhattisgarh to implement the scheme in universities.
Mr Arunachalam informed that while the organisation is conveying English language skill training to the students of Gujarat, in Chattisgarh, it is focusing on the training and assessment of teachers in the English language. Speaking about the strategy in MP, he said that CAE will be working with both students and teachers for English Skill Development.

In over 150 countries, CAE conducts tests for more than 50 lakh students each year. The MoUs on Tuesday was signed by the Higher Education Department of the state and Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission with CAE.
