Mumbai University is yet to release the results of 208 examinations which were conducted in the current academic session. However, the varsity has declared the results of 404 examinations and most of the undeclared results are from Commerce stream. There are a high number of students in Commerce stream, and the varsity has declared the results of only four Commerce streams.

One of the officials of the varsity explained that there are around four lakh students in Commerce department and it is taking a lot of time to evaluate the answer scripts and declare the results. On the other hand, the varsity has declared the results of 67 exams which were held for Arts students. He further explained that 90 percent of paper correction was over and the results will be declared soon.

One of the officials revealed that within the first 30 days after the completion of examinations, the varsity had declared the results of 80 exams, 65 exam results within 45 days and results of 45 examinations were declared after 45 days.
Announcing results for various examinations is becoming a big challenge for the varsity and the management is struggling to announce the results on time. On the other hand, students have been losing patience while waiting for the results.
One of the third year students from Commerce stream said that the varsity had announced many times that they would declare the results soon and nothing has changed. He further added that the delay in results is a common thing at Mumbai University and like last year, the results have been delayed this year too.
