The University of Mumbai has announced the final year LLB results for both, three-year and five-year LLB courses on 31st August 2017. The results have been published on the official website of Mumbai University.
The evaluation process of several other exams is still underway because of which several deadlines have been passed causing chaos and nervousness among students. While giving an update to the Bombay High Court, the premier University has confirmed that all the pending results will be uploaded on the official website by 6th September 2017. Continuous leave taken by the teachers on account of Ganesh Chaturthi and heavy rains delayed the assessment of answer sheets by a couple of days, the varsity said.

According to the official data submitted by Mumbai University to Bombay HC,
- Out of 153 exams conducted in Arts stream, the results of 151 exams have been declared.
- Similarly, out of 47 exams conducted for the B.Sc degree, the varsity has declared the results of 43 exams.
- The varsity had uploaded the results of 30 exams under commerce stream out of 50.
Heavy rains in Mumbai on August 29, 2017, resulted in a power cut which disrupted the supply of internet connectivity ultimately leading to the ‘On Screen’ evaluation process being disturbed thus causing the delay in announcement of results.

Mumbai University has also informed that the gazetted mark sheets of the students will be uploaded online in the next three days and the hard copies of the same will be available at the respective colleges. The court further directed the CET cell of Mumbai University that no further extension of the deadline would be granted and the varsity must complete the assessment of answer sheets by September 6, 2017.
