Narula Institute of Technology observed 'National Love A Tree Day' recently .The event held at the College campus ground near Kamarhati in Kolkata.The focus was to spread the message of plantation and greenery all over the world to make the earth a better place to live. The dream for green earth to have a better place to breathe was supported by this event.
The students and faculty members planted trees and took a step towards environmental cleanliness. Love a tree and save a life~ this was the spirit of the event.
Narula Institute of Technology (NIT Kolkata) was established in 2001 and is situated in Agarpara. This institute is the second forerunner education enterprise under JIS Educational Initiatives. The students get an opportunity to interact with foreign lecturers all across the globe through seminars, conferences, and special teaching-learning sessions. The Institute is eligible for receiving Central assistance under the recognition of 2(f) & 12(B) under UGC Act. The institute is also accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college has also received the notable World Bank Assisted and MHRD approved TEQIP (Phase II) grant for the advancement of Higher Technical Education. The institute boasts of a powerful R & D cell with immense contribution from the scholarly faculty members.
