Department of Basic Science & Humanities of Narula Institute of Technology organised a One day Interactive Seminar on Environmental Ethics & Value crisis in Contemporary Society on May 16, 2016. The Interactive Seminar held at the Seminar Hall in the main campus of the college near Kamarhati in Kolkata.
The main focus of the seminar was on the future prospects to save the Environment and how to bear with the crisis faced by the negligence in its values due to the constant speed up of globalisation and technical developments. Some famous environment activists were chairing the Seminar they also shared their views and suggestions to the students on how they can do some activities to save the environment and the wildlife of our nation. In this enlighting occasion Basic Science & Humanities department also published the departmental first Newsletter named Illumination.
The Ultimate Seminar was a gateway for all the Engineering and Management students of the college to gain valuable suggestions and mentorship from the expert laureates and to showcase their talent & thoughts in environmental awareness and gain the reputation of applause from the jury.
The Speaker had interactive sessions with all the students who were present in the workshop.Students from different streams and sections of the college actively took part in each and every session of it and made the Seminar a great hit. Each of the session was very helpful and encouraging for all the students as well as for the faculty members of the college.
