The online application process for National Aptitude Test in Architecture was expected to commence on December 24, 2016. However, there are slight changes in the schedule of the online application process, submission and others.
The examination date of NATA 2017 remains the same and there is no change. As per schedule, NATA 2017 will take place on April 16, 2017. The examination is being carried out for the candidates who want to seek admission to B.Arch courses for the academic session 2017-18. It is mandatory to qualify NATA 2017 to be eligible to apply for admission.

NATA 2017 is being conducted and supervised by Council of Architecture (CoA). Every year lakhs of aspirants take NATA examination. The candidates must note that to apply for NATA 2017 they need to obtain 17 years of age and should have qualified +2 or intermediate.

NATA 2017 is carried out in an offline mode, i.e., pen and paper based for the past ten years now. Currently, there are 450 institutes in India which are offering architecture courses. The are a total number of 24,000 seats in these colleges. However, the pattern of examination keeps changing every now and then. The examination focusses on evaluating the logical and reasoning ability of the candidates. The examination consists of both - written test and drawing test.
