NATA candidates often wonder how many times they can take the exam. NATA candidates are permitted to attempt the exam as many times as they like, according to the official notification released by the Council of Architecture (CoA).

NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to undergraduate architecture courses in India. Aspiring candidates often wonder how many times they can attempt the NATA exam. According to the official notification released by the Council of Architecture (CoA), there is no limit on the number of attempts a candidate can make for NATA. This means that candidates can appear for the exam as many times as they want to improve their scores and secure a better chance of admission to their preferred college. However, candidates must note that they need to meet the eligibility criteria for each attempt.

NATA 2023 Attempts

Candidates can appear for NATA as many times as they wish. However, they can appear for two out of three sessions of the exam in one year. The second and third tests are going to be conducted on 3rd June and 9th July respectively.

NATA 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for NATA 2023 have been given below which a candidate must check in order to apply for further sessions of the exam-
  • Candidates who have completed their 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as a subject of study are eligible to appear for NATA 2023.
  • Candidates who are currently appearing for the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects of study or 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics can also provisionally appear for NATA 2023.
  • It is mandatory for candidates to gain 50% marks in the aggregate.
  • Such candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria for the exam and provide proof of passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission.
