A scholarship grant has been offered to all the students from the field of mathematics, who wish to apply for it. The scholarship will be provided by the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM). The Board has now started accepting applications to the scholarship offer from all the students currently pursuing a postgraduate programme in Mathematics .
As per the scholarship scheme by the National Board for Higher Mathematics, the eligible and selected students who receive will receive the scholarship, they will be offered ₹6,000 every month, for the entire duration of the postgraduate programme, i.e. two years. The scholarship scheme is also applicable to the students who are pursuing a 5-year integrated course in mathematics as well. However, the scholarship will only be provided to the students who have taken admission in a recognised master’s programmes that are being offered by the colleges in India.
The students who are interested in availing the scholarship scheme will need to visit the official website of NBHM Scholarships, as the applications will only be accepted through online mode. However, the application fee will cost the students ₹300 along with any collection fee, both of which, should be paid online, as per the rules set by the Board.

The selection process for the scholarship scheme by the National Board for Higher Mathematics includes a written test along with a personal interview. The students will first be required to sit for the written examination. Depending on their performance in the written test, the candidates will be shortlisted and called for the personal interview.

The National Board for Higher Mathematics has already started accepting applications for the scholarship scheme, which began on 24th July 2019 and the application process will continue till 25th August 2019. The candidates will also be required to take a printout of the admission tickets which will be available from 6th September 2019. The written test will be conducted on 19th October 2019.
