Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur conducted a three day ‘National Conference on Social Entrepreneur (NCSE).’
This was the 8th edition of NCSE and had,” Social Innovations: Changing Lives and Society” as its theme. The conference was attended by 150 social entrepreneurs, development sector professionals, academicians and students who shared their experiences and discussed issues and challenges and ways to build social entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The other issue discussed at the conference was the ways to educate and empower the rural India and also advocated a dialogue on social development.
According to Madhukar Shukla, the coordinator for the conference,” With this conference we aim to provide a platform for showcasing, knowledge sharing and building a social entrepreneurship ecosystem. It is a significant aspect of XLRI’s mission to advance management education with a social conscience and to propagate dialogue on social development.”
