Union Minister for Human Resource Prakash Javadekar said that a major change is imminent in the country’s education policy. The new policy will stress on quality education to all.

The minister was speaking at a programme held at Dayanand Saraswati Sukhanand Career Public School located in Sheeshamjhadi in Rishikesh. He said that quality education to all the students of the country is a prerequisite for building a better country. The Central Government is moving towards a big change in its education policy to be announced soon so as to achieve the objective of making quality education available to all.
The minister was all praise for Dayanand Saraswati Sukhanand Career Public School for taking on the responsibility and looking after the education of around 50 children affected by the 2013 calamity. The minister said that institutions had set an example for others to follow.

The school in collaboration with the Shastra University of Tamil Nadu has taken up the responsibility to provide education to 57 children belonging to families that fell a victim to the 2013-Uttarakhand disaster.
