NCHMCT JEE Exam Day Instructions for Online Proctored Exam

NCHMCT JEE will be conducted on August 10, 2021. The admit card of the NCHMCT 2021 was released on August 3, 2021. This year NCHMCT JEE will be conducted in Remote Proctored online (internet-based) mode. Candidates need not visit any exam centre for appearing in the exam. They can appear for the NCHMCT JEE exam, from their location, on a Personal Computer (fitted with a camera) or laptop with stable internet connectivity. NCHMCT JEE 2021 Exam Timings

NCHMCT JEE 2021 exam will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours. Candidates are required to log in for the exam at 12.30 PM.

NCHMCT JEE Exam-Day Instructions: Guidelines for Remote Proctored NCHMCT Exam

Students are advised to go through the list of important documents and last-minute tips for NCHMCT JEE in order to ensure that they are prepared for the examination day. In addition, students should note that they should have a laptop/ PC with a camera, microphone, and internet connectivity to appear for the exam. Here are some of the important instructions NCHMCT that a student should remember.

  • Candidates should note that they are advised to log in for the exam at 12:20 PM so that issues that may arise during log-in can be resolved and the exam process is smooth.

  • Candidates need to have a Safe Exam Browser to appear for the exam. In case, they feel any technical problem while appearing for the exam they can inform the Proctor through Chat.

  • They should note that the process of validating the identity of the candidates and admitting them to the NCHMCT JEE online exam in the system will take time hence they should log in to the system at the reporting time.

  • Once the candidates finish the exam, they can click on the “Submit” button and leave the exam.

  • In case, a candidate is not able to continue the exam on account of power failure or drop in internet connectivity or technical issues with the PC or laptop, he/ she can contact 0120-6740105. He can continue the exam on the same laptop or PC or some other PC/ laptop when the power supply or internet service resumes, using the same user ID and password given to you. Their responses will be saved and they can continue the exam from where they left. There would be no loss of data or time.

  • If the internet disconnects during submission, candidates are advised to contact the Help centre on the given number and don't close their window. Besides this, they should make sure that the pop-up blocker is disabled on your browser. Any notifications related to windows updates, antivirus, email notifications, etc will be counted as
    navigation.

Hardware/ Software Requirements for taking the NCHMCT JEE Exam (Remote Proctored)

  • RAM - Minimum 2GB (though 4GB is recommended),
  • Windows 7/8/10 Operating, Minimum
  • Processor Speed- 1.5 GHz and above
  • 40GB Hard Disk Memory, Minimum Core2 Duo processor.
  • Antivirus should be disabled on this system.
  • Minimum 1.4GHz clock speed
  • Dot.net 4.5 must be installed on the user system
Preferred Browsers
  • GoogleChrome (Ver. 75 or above) and  Mozilla Firefox(Ver. 70 or above)
Internet Bandwidth
  • The minimum required bandwidth is 512 Kbps - 1 Mbps of internet speed.

Documents Required to Appear for NCHMCT JEE 2021

Here is the list of documents that a candidate should keep along with him while appearing for the NCHMCT JEE exam.

  • Admit Card

  • ID Proof

  • 2 sheets of plain paper for doing rough work.

  • Drinking water in a transparent bottle

Candidates should note that they can keep 2 blank sheets of paper with them during the exam for doing rough work.
